Paint Nights and Workshops

Feeling stressed?  Looking for something new to try on a Friday night?  Art People can create a customized Art Experience catered to you!  No previous art experience is necessary for any of our offerings.

  • Workshop prices vary depending upon cost of supplies.  Please contact us to inquire.

  • Workshops need to be booked at least 3 weeks in advance so materials can be ordered and/or custom designs can be created.

  • Interested in a type of workshop that's not listed here?  Chances are, we can make it happen.  Contact us to inquire!

Customized Paint Night

  • 2 hours

  • Art People will work with you to come up with a customized paint night workshop for your party!  Whether it is a favorite flower, a scenic landscape, or a symbol from your favorite movie, we will create a completely personal design for your group!

Wooden Sign Workshop

  • 2-3 hours

  • Stain and stencil your own custom home decor!

Silk Scarf Dye Painting

  • 2 hours

  • Learn how to hand-dye your own silk scarf using a dye-painting method.

Low-Tech Silk-Screening

  • 3 hours

  • Who says you need harsh chemicals or a laser to create your own t-shirt?  Not us!  In this workshop you will use easily accessible, non-toxic materials to create and print a silk screen.  Additional cost for us to provide t-shirts ($10 per shirt), or participants can bring their own.

The Broken Bowl (inspired by Kintsugi)

  • 3 hours

  • Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold or silver.  It highlights the broken parts of the object rather than hiding them.  This workshop focuses on the therapeutic healing that can come from repairing what is broken and reminding ourselves to celebrate in all of our imperfections.  It is not a traditional Kintsugi workshop.
